Since the early 2000s, Club Sevilla has been a nonprofit organization that aims to provide a safe and inclusive space for women to socialize and learn to be women of color. We do this through dance, music, art, and sports. We aim to provide a safe space where women of color can feel comfortable enough to learn and have fun in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Our own research suggests that the majority of women stay in the club, even though they don’t want to.
We also see that the majority of women who stay in Club Sevilla are women of color. For women that are women of color in any other public space, it can be hard to feel comfortable in our space. We want to offer our women of color a space where they dont feel judged and where they feel safe and comfortable to learn and practice.
Most of the content here is about the game and not the reasons of the game itself. We’ve covered things like the events, the location of the games, the costumes, and more. We think there are a lot of reasons why people might be interested in the game. We want to help them learn and experience the game so they can enjoy the game and learn from it.
